Located in the heart of Dodgeville, Wisconsin, our retreat area resides within the picturesque landscape of the Driftless lands. There’s a certain magic in the air here, a palpable connection to the earth that’s undeniable. This place is known as the Driftless Area, shrouded in mystery. What sets it apart is that this expanse of 15,000 square miles is entirely encircled by glacial drift. It’s as if the glaciers deliberately bypassed this area, leaving it untouched and enigmatic.
The Driftless region and its surrounding area captivate visitors with their rugged rock formations, vibrant wildflower meadows, expansive prairies, dense woodlands, pristine lakes, and enduring streams. The Self-Care Sanctuary, Immerse yourself in mindfulness, explore ancient healing techniques, and connect with experts and individuals who share your passion for holistic living. Kathy’s Day Spas inspire, empower, and support your journey toward well-being and self-discovery. Each spa day is tailored for only 6-8 people, and each is different. The spa day are located in Deerfield, Wisconsin, at her Wellness Center. You are responsible for your own travel. The hours are from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm, and lunch is included, although no overnight stays are provided.
At Kathy’s retreats, the aim is to empower and educate individuals to live their best lives.

How it began: The Wisconsin Wellness Retreat was born out of Kathy’s spiritual calling. After establishing her practice in Wisconsin, she received an overwhelming response from her clients and students to create a place where they could rest, relax, and recharge. It took Kathy several years to listen to this calling, but Spirit eventually directed her toward a center in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. Although she hosted retreats for other spiritual professionals at her Center, it was during the COVID-19 pandemic that Kathy fully realized the importance of this calling. Her heart was amplified, and she co-led a Reiki retreat with her colleague Karen Caig at William Rand’s house in Maui, which was a colossal success.
Now, Kathy invites you to join her on this inner growth journey. Each retreat she creates will have a unique spark, but one thing will always remain constant: you will be invited to join her sacred space and feel her unconditional love and support. Holistic Events is a platform that promotes wellness, mindfulness, and personal growth by bringing together various transformative events. The founder, Kathy, seeks to provide a space for individuals to discover and participate in events that nurture their minds, bodies, and spirits. Holistic Crafts: The principle of holistic craft is embraced by practitioners who believe in the harmonious intersection of mind, body, and spirit in creation. This philosophy acknowledges the interconnectedness of these elements and seeks to imbue every aspect of the craft with a sense of holistic balance and purpose. The aim is to cultivate beauty in the final product and a sense of mindfulness, intention, and overall well-being. Some of the past creations include fairy wands, Despachos, Sacred Herb Pouches, and many other types of art. I also provide an individual drawing canvas to ensure a personalized experience each year and place it in my center.
